An extremely modern SKELETONISED movement

The self-winding caliber of the Montecristo Skeleton is made in Switzerland by an artisan workshop.

Computer-designed by master watchmakers to analyze the structural capacities of every tiny component, and produced using sophisticated technologies that ensure micrometric tolerances, the movement offers customized finishes and optimum performance.

The skeletonisation of the Montecristo Skeleton is extremely modern, precisely because it is the result of an alchemic encounter between tradition and new technologies: the minimalist, almost geometric aesthetic is defined by a blend of straight and curved lines consistent with the construction of the case, which is equally light and perforated, forming an organic, well-structured whole.

Even more sophisticated, maintaining the original sporty soul, are the two versions Total Black and Total Blue: the steel case and the three horns are coated with an intense black and brilliant blue PVD treatment, the polished finishing gives movement and three-dimensionality to the structure of the watch, enhancing every detail. The new graphics with Arabic numerals echo the modern appeal of the PVD coating.

For those looking for something extremely elegant and precious, LOCMAN proposes Montecristo Skeleton Diamonds: 160 natural brilliant-cut diamonds set on the hour markers and the case illuminate the watch and enhance the beauty of the skeleton heart through wonderful play of light.

Lightness and DYNAMISM

The self-winding calibre can be admired in its entirety through the sapphire crystal on the dial and the crystal on the case back. It is equipped with a feature typical of superior quality movements: a power reserve of between 60 and 72 hours. This is guaranteed by the tungsten oscillating weight, capable of charging the barrel spring in both directions of rotation.

It is blackened with a PVD treatment and customised with the LOCMAN logo. The construction of the case, which as always is in 316L steel with a titanium case back, has also been redesigned. It now features a “bridge” structure with integrated triple lugs, a sort of frame that hugs the case middle and connects it to the perforated silicone strap. The slimmer and more ergonomic shapes give the 42 mm diameter unprecedented wearability, while the side openings enhance the sense of dynamism and lightness.
