Montecristo Lady

A rugged, wild island, but one that is romantic and mellow. Nature that is precious and pure, with austere beauty and magnetic charm.

The benign mother of flora and fauna guided by arcane forces and strict laws. Whipped by fierce winds or brushed by warm, fragrant breezes, caressed by calm waves or battered by violent swells. Always impossible to tame.

The Island of Montecristo is a metaphor for femininity.

WOMEN’S Time

LOCMAN dedicates the Montecristo Lady to all women. Launched in 2013 as a smaller version of the men’s model, it has undergone several restyles over time to soften its shape.

Locman’s designers have also recently reworked the proportions and made the design more contemporary. The current model is therefore distinguished by its dynamic, extremely elegant and streamlined shape. The improved ergonomics give the wrist a feeling of total comfort.

A typical feature of the construction is the slender outer structure that hugs the case middle on both sides, while the curved bezel supports the slightly convex glass. The rounded construction retains the usual central bars between the lugs, typical of the Montecristo collection.

Natural FEMINILITY

The case of the Montecristo Lady is made of AISI 316L steel and measures 36 mm in diameter, a size suitable for even the slimmest of wrists. The case-back is titanium, an entirely hypoallergenic material ideal for even the most sensitive skin. On the mother-of-pearl dial, the skeletonised hands and teardrop-shaped hour markers heighten the impression of lightness. The fluted crown has a distinctive bulbous shape, making it look like a flower when viewed in profile.

The Montecristo Lady is also available in a jewelled version, with a case embellished with a rose gold PVD treatment and nine diamonds set on the hour markers, or pavé-set diamonds on the central lugs. In this case, the strap is made of technical satin in metallic tones. In versions with a steel case, however, it is made of saffiano, a special process that gives leather added quality and durability, and available in a range of on-trend colours.
